A couple months ago, my sister, her family, and I traveled down to McCormick's Creek State Park in Spencer, IN to camp for a few days. As we traveled down we watched the radar and saw big nasty storms headed EXACTLY where we were going. But we decided to push through. We have camped in the rain before, and we can do it again. As we reached McCormick's creek it was still raining. We set up our tents in the rain and decided we might as well go on a hike, the trees will shield us a little. But as we started down our hike, the sky opened up and out came the sun streaming through the trees. It was amazing and so so beautiful, even with the 100% humidity!
The next day was beautiful as well! We hiked more and decided to cool down at the public pool inside the park. Such a perfect day! I am so thankful for this time with my family. Camping is my most favorite thing and it's even better sharing the experience with the people you love!
